Created for the Museo d'Arte Mendrisio, Landscape #1 originates from the artist's exploration of horror vacui, transforming the repeated form of the jellyfish into an evocative wire-mesh landscape. Through transparency, the contrast between fullness and emptiness, and the interplay of presence and absence, the installation creates a poetic, dreamlike vision suspended between reality and apparition.
